In collaboration with Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality and the Cyprus Turkish State Theatres, the Erol Avgören Cultural Center hosted a performance for young audiences. The children’s play, “Kalbimdeki Pervane” (The Moth in My Heart), prepared by the Eskişehir T.C. Bozüyük Municipality Theatre team, was performed for students of Çatalköy Primary School. The play, which tells the story of how a person first rejects, then accepts, and finally learns to live with their emotions during life’s journey, offered children a thought-provoking and educational experience. The students watched the colorful and impressive performance with great interest and excitement. Speaking at the end of the performance, Çatalköy-Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok emphasized that the municipality places great importance on artistic events and especially the cultural development of children, and thanked the actors for their successful performance. Mayor Kırok presented the artists with flowers and a plaque. The theatre team also thanked the municipality for their kind invitation and presented Mayor Kırok with gifts to commemorate the occasion. The event, which attracted great interest from young viewers, once again showcased the place of art in the world of children and created an unforgettable cultural and artistic gathering.
