Mayor Kırok, who examined the handcrafted products of the women participating in the course, said that they will continue to support women’s participation in production and social life.
Çatalköy-Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok attended the opening of the Karaağaç Village Women’s Course Exhibition and officially opened it.
Touring the exhibition area, Mayor Kırok examined each of the handcrafted products prepared with great effort and dedication by the women participating in the course, and received information about the works from the producers. Speaking with the women, Kırok also listened to their requests and suggestions regarding the course process. Stating that the necessary steps will be taken to address the needs and shortcomings mentioned during the event in order to make the course activities more efficient, Mayor Kırok expressed that as a municipality, they value the empowerment of women in all areas.
Emphasizing that women’s participation in production makes significant contributions to both the family economy and social life, Kırok noted that Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality will continue to support education, production, and social projects for women. The Karaağaç Village Women’s Course Exhibition, showcasing the handcrafted works of the course participants, attracted considerable interest from visitors.
