Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality’s Cinema Days Event Receives Great Interest

Çatalköy Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok stated that activities for children in the region continue without slowing down. He expressed that after the summer workshop, they organized beach handball and now cinema days events, ensuring that children spend their summer with fun and social activities.

The Esentepe Beach Handball Tournament, organized on July 13-14 in cooperation with the TRNC Handball Federation at Esentepe Public Beach, with the participation of 26 teams and 200 athletes in total, also received great interest.

Within the framework of the cinema days event, the movie nights that started at Atatürk Park in Esentepe will continue and end in Bahçeli Children’s Park, Hz. Ömer Tomb Recreation Area, Karaağaç Children’s Park, and Arapköy. Mayor Kırok said, “Children are the guarantee of our future, our joy of life.”

Thanks to these events, children both have fun and contribute to their development through social activities. The municipality continues to increase such events for children, allowing them to spend their summer holidays more productively.
