We have renewed the sister city protocol between Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality and Mezitli Municipality of Mersin following the Municipal Reform. I believe this protocol will increase cultural exchange and sharing of knowledge and experience between the two municipalities.

We signed a sister city agreement with Mezitli Mayor Mr. Ahmet Serkan Tuncer that will strengthen our bonds of friendship. With the experience of Mr. Tuncer, who is also the President of the Eastern Mediterranean Municipalities Union, this cooperation will create an important foundation for projects that will benefit both municipalities. I hope this agreement will be beneficial for both our municipalities and our country.

Within the framework of the sister city protocol, we aim to further strengthen the ties between municipalities through cultural activities, joint projects, and knowledge sharing.
