Kırok: “We Have Created a Lasting Build on Sports Infrastructure”
Mayor Ceyhun Kırok, speaking at the opening ceremony, expressed his joy at the opening of a significant sports field for the region’s youth:

“We are a municipality that believes in the unifying power of sports. This field we have brought to Esentepe will not only be a sports field, but also a center where our young people can channel their energy effectively and strengthen friendships. I would like to thank all the businesspeople, the Department of Sports, and municipal staff who contributed to this project.” Kırok stated that supporting sports to help young people develop healthy lifestyle habits is among the municipality’s priorities, and stated that the Esentepe pitch will breathe new life into the region’s football infrastructure.
Memorial Match and Junior Challenge Attracted Great Attention
As part of the opening ceremony, a friendly match was played between Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality personnel and the Düzkaya Masters Team. The Çatalköy and Esentepe youth teams also took to the field for a junior match held in memory of Mehmet Kim.
Following the matches, the municipality offered refreshments to the young athletes.
“From Soil to Table, From Sports to Unity”
At the end of the event, Mayor Kırok emphasized that investments will continue not only in infrastructure but also in social and cultural areas in the region:
“We are crowning our culture of production, which extends from soil to table, with sports. With the spirit of solidarity, unity, and labor, we will continue to advance our region in every field.”
