Ceyhun Kırok, the Mayor of Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality, announced that the budget exceeding 1 million liras required to bring the water source to the community has been covered by the municipality, and the obtained water will start to be supplied to household tanks within three days.
Kırok’s statement on the subject is as follows:
“Important announcement‼️
The water well works that we started about 6 months ago in Çatalköy have been completed as of today, and water will start flowing into the tanks of houses in our region within 3 days.
The excavation work that started on May 30, 2024, lasted 50 days. As a result of the measurements made, the water well, which was determined to have a capacity of 70 cubic meters of water per hour, was brought to our region after long and devoted efforts.
The cost of the well, which was fully financed by our municipality:
Opening the excavation road and preparing the platform: 360,000 TL
Fuel for working machine and generators: 245,953.16
Vehicle maintenance and repair: 4,000 TL
Municipal staff overtime: 27,325 TL
Electrical transformer cost: 577,327.74 TL
Other expenses: 47,317.25
It cost a total of 1,261,923.15 TL.
This work has proved that beautiful things can be achieved if given the opportunity.
