The long-awaited tender process for the Çatalköy-Girne road project has been completed.

Work on the first phase of the project begins on Monday, August 11th.

Çatalköy-Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok made a statement on the matter, stating that Minister of Transport Erhan Arıklı informed them this morning and adding:

“The first phase of this valuable project, which we have been eagerly awaiting for our region for a long time, is beginning. Minister of Transport Erhan Arıklı informed us this morning that the tender for the Çatalköy-Girne road has been finalized and that work will begin on Monday, August 11th.”

Mayor Kırok emphasized the critical importance of the Çatalköy-Girne road project for regional traffic and transportation safety, and stated that the municipality will continue to contribute to the process in every way possible.
