The Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality Beşparmaklar Theatre Festival continues at full speed. As part of the Beşparmaklar Theatre Festival, organized in collaboration between the Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality and the Cyprus Turkish State Theatres, art lovers enjoyed a colorful performance last night. Within the framework of the festival, the play “Buratino,” prepared by the Writer’s Theatre “Legends” team and performed in Russian, met with the audience. The work, which tells the story of a wooden man carved from a talking log by Papa Carlo, attracted attention with its stage language and narrative. In the evening, which saw a large turnout, the colorful stage design and visual displays were particularly appreciated by the audience. Despite being performed in a different language, the play’s universal message once again demonstrated the unifying power of theatre. At the end of the performance, Çatalköy Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok took to the stage, emphasizing that theatre is a universal art that brings people together in every language, and thanked the actors for their successful performance, presenting the team with flowers and a plaque.
