The Beşparmaklar Theatre Festival, organised by the Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality in collaboration with the Turkish Cypriot State Theatres, provided delightful moments for young theatre lovers this evening. The shadow play Karagöz Gizli Hazine, staged as part of the festival, was highly acclaimed for its entertaining and educational content.

This special play, written and performed by master artist İzel Seylani, questions what true wealth is, while also conveying animal love to the audience in a charming manner. Seylani’s impressive performance received full marks from the children and their families.

At the end of the play, successful artist İzel Seylani was thanked for her performance and presented with flowers and a plaque. This meaningful show, which added colour to the festival’s colourful atmosphere, was both entertaining and thought-provoking.
