As Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality, within the scope of the protocol we signed with the excavation companies operating in our region 1 year ago, we decided to dump the excavated soil from construction and hotel projects into idle areas in a controlled manner. With these works, we aimed to transform these areas into green areas in the coming years.

Today, another meaningful step was taken in line with this vision! Anafartalar High School, 19 Mayıs Turkish Maarif College and Girne 18 and Over Rehabilitation Center students, together with their teachers, gave life to our nature by planting 300 eucalyptus, cypress, callitris and carob saplings in this region.
We would like to thank all the students, their teachers and everyone who contributed for these valuable contributions. Together, we will continue to build a green, livable and sustainable future.
