As Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality, we were very proud to support the Memorial Run organized in memory of the late Mustafa Çağatay, the Founding Prime Minister of the TRNC.
The event, held on April 29, 2026, was successfully implemented through the cooperation of the Girne District Governorship, Girne Police Department, Girne Municipality, Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality, and various institutions, organizations, and associations. The event, which saw a large participation from our primary school students, was filled with excitement, and our children competed in a gentlemanly manner, showcasing the spirit of friendship, unity, and solidarity in sports in the best possible way. At the end of the competitions, medals and trophies were presented to the winning students.
As Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality, we will continue to support every event that encourages our youth to engage in sports, keeps our social values ​​alive, and strengthens our unity and solidarity.
