As part of the 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations, students from Çatalköy and Esentepe Primary Schools visited Mayor Ceyhun Kırok in his office. In this event, traditionally held every year, the mayor’s seat was symbolically handed over to the children. The young visitors had the opportunity to get to know the municipal administration up close and also expressed their own perspectives and suggestions for the city. The children shared their ideas on many issues, from environmental improvements to social areas, experiencing the excitement of contributing to the administration. During the visit, the students also conveyed their requests and suggestions for improvements in their neighborhoods to Mayor Kırok. The meeting, which took place in a warm atmosphere, was enlivened by the children’s joy and energy. Mayor Ceyhun Kırok stated that the children’s opinions were extremely valuable to them, adding that such events contribute to the upbringing of conscious individuals for the future. He also congratulated the children on the 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. The visit, conducted in keeping with the spirit of 23rd April, concluded with commemorative photos.
