Due to the importance we place on labor, workers, and the concept of social municipality, we have today paid the entirety of our municipal personnel’s accumulated Provident Fund premium debt, totaling approximately 21,000,000 (twenty-one million) Turkish Lira, dating back to the period 2006-2015, dating back to the period our municipalities existed before Law No. 15/2022 on the Merger of Municipalities. With this payment, we have not only relieved our municipality of the monthly interest burden of approximately 740,000 Turkish Lira, but also ensured the social security of our fellow workers, preventing them from experiencing hardship when they retire, and paving the way for them to benefit from the resources provided by the Provident Fund during difficult times.
