Ceyhun Kırok, the Mayor of Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality, participated in the Social Affairs Committee Meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe on behalf of the Union of Turkish Cypriot Municipalities. The meeting, held in Strasbourg from July 3-5, addressed issues related to the organization of social life in local governments, elderly care and age-friendly cities, and social space sharing for youth. Hüseyin Kole, the municipal manager, also attended the meeting on behalf of Kyrenia Municipality.
